Kensington-Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Cornerstone Community Church serves the Kensington neighborhood. The area is multi-cultural and low-income. This area is afflicted with crime, drugs, alcohol abuse, insufficient housing and a lack of education. The church hosts after-school tutoring, VBS camps and block parties.
Traveling the country. Serving local churches. Documenting stories.
Across the U.S., small towns and local churches quietly serve in places often overlooked.
I am going to be traveling around the country to learn more about these communities.
During my travels, I will be serving with American missionaries,
facilitating meaningful interactions and documenting the work along the way.
